Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Alongside the Road Trip role, he has also been seen in The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 television shows such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. He was able to get rid of his cancer within two years. The early treatment had severe effects on his health and stunted development. As he began to take action, financial stability was the ultimate goal. He'd experienced poverty during his youth. He said, "I've been living so cheap for so many years that I need money security or else the world will feel out-of-control and that's not good for me." Also, looking back to his own youth and his desire to do something about the bullying issue. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. The ideal character for him in films and in life is the father. The director doesn't choose him to play those parts, however, he claims. For the foreseeable future, he hopes to become father to a child.
